What started in 2014 as a vision in the heart of Coach Denykco Bowles has grown into far more than a basketball program. IBA Bahamas was built on the belief that the game of basketball can change lives, shape character, and open doors for young people both on and off the court.
Rooted in faith and driven by purpose, IBA Bahamas was created to develop well-rounded student-athletes through elite training, strong mentorship, and a commitment to academic excellence. From the very beginning, the mission has been bigger than wins and trophies. It has always been about building confidence, discipline, leadership, and integrity in every athlete who walks through the program.

The International Basketball Academy has developed a curriculum aimed at improving our players’ overall skillset and basketball IQ. Our curriculum is designed around individual and team player development that contains real game scenarios and enhances critical thinking skills. IBA wants to ensure that these skills are fine-tuned, giving our kids opportunities to compete at a high level both locally and internationally
